Step Forward's Mission Statement:

The services and programs of Step Forward Activities have been established to provide vocational training, employment, residential, and supported living opportunities to persons with disabling conditions or other barriers to employment and living situations.

Within the scope of these services the program staff have made a commitment to strive to accomplish certain valued outcomes for individuals who participate in the program. These outcomes are individualized, yet are based on the philosophy that work and residential settings should be physically and socially integrated within the community, while providing an opportunity for earned wages and enhanced skills and self-esteem.
